1. What Homeoctos is

Homeoctos is a home and interior inspiration platform with room planning tools and a selection of products from partner shops. Homeoctos does not sell products. Purchases are made directly with the shops.

2. Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the shop pays Homeoctos a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change the price or our selection.

3. Prices, availability and product information

Prices, stock, dimensions and images are indicative and may change. The final price, availability, shipping, delivery, returns and warranty are confirmed by the shop when you buy. Totals shown on the website are estimates and exclude shipping.

Generic models, manual camera placement and planning dimensions are visual planning references. The manual preview stays fixed on screen and does not establish physical scale. Confirm product variants, quantities, dimensions and suitability with the retailer before purchase. The Homeoctos basket keeps your selection; purchases are completed with each retailer when a purchase link is available.

4. Buying from shops

The purchase contract is between you and the shop, under the shop's terms. Your consumer rights, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee, are exercised with the shop. Homeoctos is not a party to that contract, but we are happy to help if you contact us.

5. Your account

Provide accurate details and keep access to your email secure, because that is how you sign in. We may suspend accounts used abusively or unlawfully. You can delete your account at any time.

6. Your projects and content

The projects and texts you create remain yours. You only give us the permission needed to store them and show them to you as part of the service.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use the website for unlawful purposes or to send spam.
• Do not try to access restricted areas or disrupt the website.
• Do not copy content from the website on a large scale or automatically without permission.

8. Intellectual property

Homeoctos texts, images, design and software are protected. Product images and brands belong to the respective shops and manufacturers.

9. Third-party websites

We are not responsible for the content, prices or privacy practices of shop or other third-party websites we link to.

10. Liability

We do our best to keep information correct and the website available, but cannot guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury.

11. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at clientes@homeoctos.com. You can also use the Portuguese electronic complaints book.

For consumer disputes you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, such as CNIACC, the Portuguese National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes (www.cniacc.pt). More information on the Consumer Portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt).

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
